2027 Call for Papers

The Maine Office of Tourism and the Maine Tourism Association are now accepting speaker proposals for the 2027 Maine Tourism Conference.

We are seeking proposals that explore 2027 Conference Themes:

​

• Maine Tourism & Destination Development – regional partnerships, tourism strategies and local success stories

• Marketing, Branding & Storytelling – including tourism trends and AI

• Workforce & Industry Development

• Sustainability, Stewardship & Community Building – including resident sentiment, community engagement and balancing the needs of visitors and residents

• Cultural, Indigenous & Inclusive Tourism

• Policy, Advocacy & Economic Development

• Other – Have another timely or relevant idea for Maine’s tourism industry? We want to hear it!
