Sponsors

Dear Tourism Friends,
The Annual Governor’s Conference on Tourism is scheduled for January 26, 2012 at Sunday River Resort in Newry. We invite you to join us as a sponsor of this singular event dedicated to Maine’s tourism industry. This year’s theme, “Our Traditions, Our Future,” will honor Maine's historically significant tourism heritage and how it, along with innovation, will take us into the future.
Tourism is an integral part of Maine’s economy and your business. Tourism’s broad reach helps keep our historical and cultural sites vibrant and alive, and creates recreational opportunities for residents and visitors alike. It contributes to the conservation, protection and sustainability of our natural wonders and provides education and career opportunities for our children. Tourism contributes millions of dollars to Maine’s general fund to support education, social and natural resource programs.
Our goal is to continue to grow the industry, particularly through strengthening strategic partnerships and alliances. The Governor’s Conference is an opportunity to support the organizations that make this industry strong.
On behalf of the Governor’s Conference on Tourism, thank you for the support you have given in the past and for your consideration this year.
Sincerely,

Carolann Ouellette, Director
